You should consider being more vocal about your opinions on difficult subjects. It could be a way to avoid the "herd mentality", and people will appreciate your honesty. Furthermore, you may be expressing ideas which others agree with, but were too hesitant to say. You could consider a leadership role as you are well suited to Ethical leadership, as you will be honest with your dealings with others. This can increase an open corporate culture and help projects and teams progress well and create a transparent and cohesive team.

Disingenuous behavior or social interactions may have helped you up to this point, but it may be doing more damage in the long term. A lack of interpersonal trust with your colleagues will stifle cohesion and productivity and consequently stunt your success. Consider how your actions will affect others (and you indirectly) in the long run, and rethink your approach by being more authentic with your team. You have difficulty extending and receiving trust, which could impede teamwork and project results, but also create isolation. By drawing connections between negative behavior and undesirable outcomes, you will be more aware of when your morality may be detrimental.
