Your cooperation score indicates your propensity to work with others to achieve your goals.

What does a higher score mean?

You have a clear preference for cooperation over interpersonal conflict.

You prefer to work in peace with others and work together to achieve a common goal. In the workplace create and facilitate a healthy work environment so your team members can work side by side to achieve tasks and goals. Your tendency towards cooperation is positive, and you can use that to your advantage. There are times when interpersonal conflict is inevitable, but approaching such situations with your diplomatic demeanor could improve the outcome.

  • Do you facilitate a healthy work environment for your team?
  • Do you encourage others to work together?
  • Are you able to work through conflict healthily?

What does a balanced score mean?

You are able to effectively cooperate with others, though at times may display more aggression periodically.

Your diplomatic approach to challenging situations is an asset, but be aware of when that demeanor begins to shift into a more aggressive approach. Such a change could make you come off as disingenuous. While you err on the side of cooperation, be self aware and recognize when you feel yourself becoming overly angry during situations of interpersonal conflict. Seek coaching on how to recognize and prevent the manifestation of that anger (e.g. breathing exercises, or taking a break form the situation).

  • Are you able to proactively handle conflict?
  • Do you encourage others to work together?
  • Do you have habits to help you remain calm?

What does a lower score mean?

You can become aggressive and may show less deference to others in conflict situations.

Your lack of cooperation and aggressive displays of behavior could isolate you from others and diminish your credibility. An openness to leniency could go a long way in improving your dealings with others and be advantageous in the long-term. If you can reduce your aggression, by modifying your language (swears, tone), this could be a beneficial first step in improving your willingness to cooperate, to reduce how it clouds your judgement, and to allow you to see other's perspective.

  • Are you able to control you language and displays of aggression?
