You can develop this further by drawing connections between your willingness to help, and its indirect benefit to your own progress, via the group's success. An increased willingness to distribute your resources (knowledge, supplies etc.) and more consideration for others could benefit you in team situations in which you work towards a common goal with others. Doing so will improve your rapport with others and consequently, they will be more willing to share with you, which in turn can help you succeed. Re-frame the task or goal in terms of how it benefits the group and how the group's success benefits you to increase your willingness to help others in a group context and at the same time increase team dynamic.
